About Me
Why Choose MapleTree as your child's source for learning?

My name is Kelsey Lekun and I have had the pleasure of teaching primary students over the last few years.

I am from a small town in Northern Ontario, Canada, and in 2019, I took my teaching career overseas. I had the opportunity to work in England (Erith) for 2 years, teaching Year 1. During this time and the COVID pandemic I realized children were facing massive learning gaps. Not only because of the pandemic but the simple fact that children aren't getting the one-on-one support they need. It's an impossible task for teachers and unfortunately most schools don't have the funding for extra support staff.

So, I decided it was time I did something to try and make a greater impact. MapleTree Learning is an online tutoring service that provides additional learning support to students who require extra help. I now spend my time between both countries which is why I decided an online platform would be ideal for my currently life-style.

I am an enthusiastic, passionate and dedicated educator who excels in building strong and positive relationships with students. I believe my warm and kind nature creates a safe and welcoming learning environment that enables children to flourish.

If you put your trust in MapleTree Learning, I promise to not only support your child on their journey but to equip them with the skills they need to become confident and motivated learners.
