These
are perfect squares:
1 x 1, 2 x 2, 3 x 3, 4 x 4, 5 x 5, 6 x 6
I watched
one of my students solve this another way.
He added 3 to 1, then 5 to 4, then 7 to 9, then 9 to 16,
and finally 11 to 25, to get the same result.
The pattern would continue, adding 13 next time.
