Version 2 of this package includes an improved interface, and improved animations.

Students in second or third grade (or a student in higher grades who is struggling with the multiplication facts) will benefit from the Skip Count component. These students will already know how to skip count by 2's and 5's. When they extend this skill to include the 3's, 4's, on through the 9's, they will be ready to memorize the specific multiplication facts.

Students in third grade are expected to learn all the multiplication facts through 9. Multiplication Tables presents these facts in order, but the teacher or student can choose appropriate goals during a particular session (example, the student can choose to practice the 2's, or the 4'),.
I have found that in the early stages of learning the multiplication facts, it is easiest to practice them in order. For example 7 x 0, 7 x 1, 7 x 2, .....
Multiplication Tables presents the facts in this manner.
At this stage of learning, the students choose from different possible answers. I discovered in working with children that this is necessary when first learning the multiplication tables.

By 4th or 5th grade, many students can say the multiplication tables in order. But using these facts to solve multiplication problems is often a different story!

Multiplication Facts is (in my opinion) the strongest teaching tool in this series.
The facts are presented randomly, and the student must type an answer into a text box.
This forces the student to not just memorize the facts in order, but to use them on demand.

I have worked with many students who can work with the multiplication tables.
However, somehow the connection between multiplication facts and the corresponding division facts was never made.
A veteran teaching colleague, upon seeing my idea for a multiplication program, asked, "Can you do the same with division?"

The division component is for the 4th - 6th grader who can multiply, but is struggling with division.
Again, the division facts are presented randomly, and the student must type an answer in a text box.

The same color schemes are used throughout all 4 programs in this multiplication/division series, as well as my series on fractions.

See the color scheme description.
Each of these programs is priced separately at $39.50.

However, for teachers and/or parents who wish to use the entire series for children as young as second grade, and continuing until 4th or 5th grade (or older, for students who struggle with math), I have integrated all four programs, plus all four screen savers on a single CD.

Purchasing the four programs separately would total $158.00
Multiplication Package is priced at $95.00
