The student
types an answer into a text box.
I got tired of seeing programs in the classroom that simply
stated, "Try again," or something like that.
Appropriate teaching messages are given to help guide the
student to the correct answer, relating the division fact
to the appropriate multiplication fact.
My experience
in the classroom has been that even when students know the
multiplication tables, they often have difficulty with the
corresponding division fact.

|
As with
all my multiplication/division programs, when choosing the
correct answer, the student is rewarded in several ways.
First, the correct number appears on the screen, in both versions
of the division fact.
The long division process is completed.
A reward movie follows this screen.

When
the student quits the program, a score is given, with a chance
to enter the Hall of Fame.
If the student desires to continue using the program to raise
the score, that option is given. |

The same
color schemes are used throughout all 4 programs in this multiplication/division
series, as well as my series on fractions.
See
the color scheme description.
